C - Configuring ODBC
The ODBC settings for your computer must be set up to allow for
adManage and mediaHUB to communicate.
ODBC installation and configuration for Windows 2000 or
XP MySQL Driver:
1. Click on the Start button , and then click Control Panel. Double-
click Administrative Tools, and then double-click Data Sources (ODBC).
2. On the User DSN tab, click the Add button.
3. Scroll to and highlight MySQL. See driver installation
instructions below if the MySQL driver is not listed. Click the Finish
button.
4.On the following screen, modify the following:
Windows DSN name: gatewaysource
MySQL host (name or IP): IP address of your TBGS server
MySQL database name: gateway
User: gatewaywebuser
Password: adtec
Click OK to close that panel and Ok again to close the Data Source
panel. You will need to restart your computer.
Driver Installation:
If the MySQL driver is not included in the driver list, you will
need to install the driver. ODBC Drivers for Windows XP or 2000 can be
found on the mediaHUB Installation CD in the Drivers folder.
You will need to install the driver in the ODBC folder located in the
C:\Program Files\Common Files\ folder on your computer. Restart your
computer and begin again with Step 1.
