MB6800 can be configured to disconnect from Internet connection after a specified
period of inactivity (Max Idle Time). If the Internet connection has been terminated
due to inactivity, Dial on Demand enables MB6800 to automatically re-establish the
Internet connection as soon as you attempt to access the Internet again. Enter a
number in seconds you want your internet connection to last when there is no data
transmission.
Note:
MB6800 can connect the 3G modem automatically when receiving a
PPP connection request from a DTE device and disconnect it when receiving a PPP
termination. This mode also support auto disconnect like dial on demand. Make sure the
MB6800
‟s serial speed matches with the modem. (Refer to “3.4.4.1 administration“of this
guide for the detail about how to set the serial speed)
Manual: If you choose the Manual mode, the MB6800 will not make the internet
connection when you power up the MB6800.You must manually make the
Cellular connection using the client software which can be found in the CD or
through web configuration page.

Bridged with LAN: When this type is selected, the MB6800 acts as a modem
between the cellular network and client device (PC or handheld or others) which
