The low power interface uses four lines in the connector at the top of
the instrument for interfacing with a Sound Level Meter, and six lines
in the bottom connector for interfacing with recording and control
instruments,
This interface should not he connected directly to RS 232 level
devices as all four lines are at CMOS levels (0 & 5 V).
Two lines in each connector are used for serial data transmission,
while two are for handshaking, and the remaining two in the bottom
connector are for stepping control.

0 & 5 V nominal (logic 0 and 1 respectively)
