You can also
ARM the codec when playback is stopped, so that codecs will start writing
the instant you start host playback. Likewise, stopping playback will terminate the writing
procedure. Record duration and exact data compression ratios are displayed (see
screenshot above).
Press the
FILENAME FORMAT button to view the filename format pop-over window. This
allows the user to specify the destination folder for the recorded files and the output
filename elements.
The filename can be composed of elements including codec type, bit rate and date of
recording. It is possible to re-order these elements to form a flexible and informative
filename. This can be done by clicking on any element within the complete string and
