1. Introduction
The MOCET™ Communicator™ is an innovative accessory for the Apple™ iPad™ that will
enable you to use your iPad as your desk phone with popular applications including
FaceTime™ and Skype™. With the addition of the MOCET™ Commander™ application,
available from the Apple™ App Store™, you can replace your existing phone service, or
add high quality phone service by subscribing to a compatible VoIP service (available
separately).
Use the high definition audio-enabled handset and speakerphone on the Communicator to
enhance your communication and ensure privacy and comfort. For small office use, an
external desktop microphone can be attached improving the conference call experience.
The enhanced dynamic range stereo speakers make listening to music and watching
music a more engaging experience.
The Communicator stand is adjustable between 30º and 75º, allowing you to find the most
convenient viewing angle for watching movies or participating in video conferences. The
Communicator can fast charge and power your iPad for all day work and play, and the
USB port can offer charging to your iPhone of Mobile phone.
Bluetooth-enabled iPad / iPhone / Android Pad / mobile phones can be paired with the
Communicator allowing calls to be directed to the handset or speakerphone for better call
quality and comfort as well. One USB host port and one micro-SD port on the IP3092 allow
users to connect memory devices, keyboards and other supported peripherals.
The integrated DECT base station on Communicator’s IP3092D(L) and IP3092D-E(ODM)
models can support up to five DECT 6.0 CATiq-2.0 handsets configured as a mini PBX
complete with a simple auto-attendant and voicemail or as individually configured VoIP
phones, each with their own voicemail and phone numbers on a supported phone system
or service.
Two 10/100 Ethernet ports on Communicator’s IP3092/IP3092L and IP3092D/IP3092DL
(ODM) models allows you to connect your computer as a pass-through to your network,
requiring only one Ethernet to your switch or router for both. Two 10/100/1000Mbps
Ethernet ports on the IP3092D-E(ODM) model allows you to connect both your computer
and the Communicator to a Gigabit Ethernet switch or router, without slowing down your
applications or network services.
