Headset
Press this key to enable or disable the Headset feature; it does
not enable or disable the 3.5mm port or Bluetooth connection.
Volume Rocker
Volume control keys to adjust volume of Handset Receiver,
Handset DTMF output, Handset Ring output, Headset
Receiver, Headset DTMF output, Headset Ring output,
Speakerphone output, Speakerphone DTMF output and
Speakerphone Ring output
There are three Communicator keys that may not function in iPad app mode:
Mute
For supported apps, this key can be used to mute the audio.
Hotline
Function is used in IP Commander app mode for dialing up to
three pre-programmed phone numbers in succession
regardless of whether an iPad is inserted in the Communicator
Home
Function is used in IP Commander app mode to bring IP
Commander to the forefront or launch it if it is not running
1.5.2. Communicator Key Function for IP Commander mode:
If the Communicator is connected to a VoIP service or IP PBX, and the IP Commander app
is to be used, the audio system control in the app should be set to On and to Commander.
The Communicator key functions are shown below:

Hotline
Press this key to make an emergency call whether the iPad is
attached or not; requires subscription to VoIP service or
connection to an IP PBX. A red LED is used to indicate its
status
Home
Press this key to bring the IP Commander app immediately to
the forefront. A blue LED is used to indicate its status
Speakerphone
Press this key to enable or disable the Speakerphone; a blue
LED is used to indicate status
Mute
Press this key to mute a call (the other party will not be able to
hear you).
Headset
Press this key to enable or disable the Headset feature; it does
not enable or disable the 3.5mm port or Bluetooth connection.
