5 CONFIGURATION
5.1 Login
To confi gure the XAP-1230 enter the IP address of the AP into a browser. For your
computer to fi nd the AP, it must be on the same subnet as the AP. The default address
for the XAP-1230 is 192.168.0.10. If connected to a Luxul router still at default settings,
the XAP-1230 will be on the correct subnet address. If your computer is on a different
subnet, it may need to be manually confi gured to be on the 192.168.0.xx network.
The table below lists the default parameters of the XAP-1230.
Parameter: Default Value
Default IP address: 192.168.0.10
Default user name: admin
Default password: admin
Login to the XAP-1230 Wireless Access Point with the following steps:
1. Be sure the XAP-1230 is properly installed and powered on
2. Open your Web Browser, and enter http://192.168.0.10.
The login window appears as shown below:
3. Enter the user name and password (default user name is ”admin” and default
password is “admin”), and then click “OK” to login to the Quick Setup window.
