Turn on CC: Turn on the ON-SCREEN Closed Captioning. (This
command takes you out of OVERLAY/COMMAND mode). To turn off
the Closed Captioning, enter OVERLAY/COMMAND mode and send
any character). Because of this, this should be the last command you send.
CC Stream on Power: Enable Closed Caption stream-out through RS232
port immediately on power-up.
No CC stream on Power: Disable Closed Caption stream-out through
RS232 port on power-up.
Factory Defaults: This will restore the factory defaults for brightness,
contrast and Text Overlay. All stored strings are erased.
7.0 Resetting the CC-101(-PRO)
If for any reason you need to reset the CC-101(-PRO), press the “Input”
and “Pro Output” buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds and the unit will
reset. This will not result in the loss of any serial command programming.
This will only reboot the unit. All the serial commands are still stored in
the unit.
8.0 Troubleshooting
Make sure that all your connections are solid, and check the state of the
LED’s on the front of the unit. Do not open or try to repair the unit
yourself. There are no customer repairable items in the unit and you will
void your warranty.
