Quad XGA Splitter with Cable Compensation

General Description
The Model 400-DX is a 1 in x 4 out VGA video Splitter / Distribution
Amplifier with field programmable cable length compensation on 2
outputs.
The unit has 2 standard outputs capable of driving cables up to 100 to
200 feet in length (depending on the resolution setting). The 2 DX
outputs can be programmed using Dip Switches on the unit to drive any
length of cable up to 600 feet.
The Model 400-DX provides amplification of video signal with very high bandwidths (exceeding 250 MHz) to
ensure operation at up to 1600x1200 pixel resolutions. As noted earlier, Outputs #1 & 2 have special gain and
frequency compensation for connection to long cables.

Setup
Your package should include a six-foot high resolution VGA-Type video input cable, a power adapter, and the
Video Splitter unit itself.
Locate the Video output connector on the Computer. This connector is usually a HD15 female with three rows of
contacts. Using the cable supplied, connect the input of the Splitter to the computer. Connect the AC adapter to the
Splitter and plug it in the AC source.
