Carefully place the CPU into the socket vertically. The
socket has cutouts for your fingers to fit into.
6. Gently lower the load plate. Make sure the front edge of the
plate is under the screw as indicated.
7. Lower the locking arm and fasten it to the retention tab (A).
The load plate should be locked underneath the screw as
shown (B).
