e. Pull out hair pin from fork shaft (10545). Note
location of the washer (64058) and pull out fork shaft.
Washer 64058 will fall free. Figure 6.
f. Unscrew adjustment tube 10543 from adjust­
ment link 10544. The clutch yoke, adjustment tube
and related parts are now free from the unit. Figure 4.
g. Use pry bar and bend the lever arm of the
front clutch lever (10513) in approximately 1/8". See
Figure 5.
h. Remove cotter pin from adjustment link 10544
and remove and discard adjustment link. Figure 4.
i. Install new adjustment link assembly 610024.
See Figure 6 for proper position. Use needle nose
pliers and install hair pin 67019.
j. Screw on the adjustment tube with related
parts onto the new adjustment link assembly.
k. Position washer (64058), fork (510009) and
insert fork shaft (10545). Secure in position with hair
pin previously removed. See Figure 6.
l . Reinstall rod adapter (22135) to capscrew with
spring hook in position.
m. Install new drive disc adjustment decal on
cover and install cover on Sno-Thro.
n. Tip Sno-Thro back on wheels.
o. Adjust friction drive as illustrated on page 43
(Model Year 73-74).
