4.
If the JSDV-100 is the last USL-LINK device in the chain (or the only device), move the jumper on J-4 to the
"TERM" position to terminate the end of the USL-LINK transmission line.
5.
Plug the cable into the JSD-100 USL-LINK jack on the rear panel.
6.
Plug the cable into the JSDV-100. When initially plugged in, the display on the JSDV-100 should light as
"8.8." for a couple seconds.
7.
Wait about a minute for the JSD-100 to discover/recognize the JSDV-100. Try adjusting the fader level
with the JSDV-100. The display should light showing the current fader level.
Configuration
The JSDV-100 display timeout may be set to blank after a specified number of seconds beyond the last remote
adjustment of fader level. The number of seconds before blanking is set in the “Global” tab of the GUI. If the GUI
does not have this setting in the Global tab, it may be set using the “Diagnostics” tab. Once the diagnostics tab is
selected, click the mouse in the terminal area of the screen. Type jsd100.sys.rv_timeout and the enter key to see
the current timeout value. Type jsd100.sys.rv_timeout, the tab key, the desired number of seconds, and the enter
key. A value of zero prevents a display timeout. The display will always be active. Remember to "Save Settings"
when disconnecting from the JSD-100 using the “Disconnect” button.
