3.2.3 Handset
The 15pol. D-Sub Connector should be used for the connection of the programmer unit
(0000/5971) via cable.
3.2.4 TUNER IN
After assembling the module into the base unit such as described in Point 4.1 the SAT-ZF
connection has to be connected with the TUNER IN F- connector. The device is ready for
reception immediately.
3.2.5 LOOP THRU
The SAT-ZF level chosen by a card for forwarding to another card rests against the F-
connector LOOP THRU.
3.2.6 ASI OUT
The ASI OUT2 BNC-connector enables to forward the MPEG- data stream of a received DVB-S
transponder or IPTV-Stream.
3.2.7 ASI2/SDI OUT1
The function of the ASI2/SDI OUT BNC-connector will be switched via TMS. ASI enables
forwarding the MPEG-Transports stream of a received satellite transponder or IPTV Stream.
SDI delivers a SDI signal according to SMPTE Standard.
3.2.8 ASI IN
The ASI IN BNC-connector serves the feed of a MPEG-transport stream for the transmission
into the card.
3.2.9 CVBS
The FBAS of a chosen TV channel rests against the CVBS BNC-connector.
3.2.10 AV OUT
The FBAS and Stereo-Audio signal of a chosen TV channel, rests against the AV OUT jack plug.
Please connect the AV-cable, which is part of the scope of delivery, with a 2,5mm jack plug to
the AV OUT connector. At the Cinch plugs, the signals rest again as follows:
yellow FBAS
red audio channel right
white audio channel left
