Device Lock
Change device lock password / PIN
To change device lock password or PIN, follow these steps:
1. From any Home screen, tap the All apps icon.
2. Tap Settings.
3. Scroll down to 'PERSONAL,' then tap Security.
4. Scroll to and select Activate Phone Code.
5. Select Change phone code.
6. Enter the old password. Select OK.
7. Enter your new password. Select OK.
8. Enter your new password again. Select OK.
Turn on/off device lock
To turn on or turn off the device lock password or PIN, follow these steps:
Turn on
1. From any Home screen, tap the All apps icon.
2. Tap Settings.
3. Scroll down to 'PERSONAL,' then tap Security.
4. Tap Set up screen lock.
5. Choose screen lock from the following:
o None
o Slide
o Face Unlock
o Voice unlock
o Pattern
o PIN
o Password
6. Follow the instructions for desired screen lock method.
