Step 2 • Scanning
Selecting the Scan Area
You can specify an area of the preview image for scanning (the scan area). Once
the area is selected, you can zoom it to fill the preview window for close
examination.
Selecting the Scan Area
Click and drag the mouse cursor over the portion of the image you wish to set as
the scan area. A frame will appear around the selected area.
•
You can drag the mouse cursor in any direction.
•
Clicking outside the frame or right-clicking the mouse deselects the scan
area.
•
Double-clicking outside the frame expands the selection to fill the preview
window.
•
If no area is selected, the entire preview image becomes the scan area.
