OPERATION

PROGRAMMING

REPEATING A CD (REPEAT)

STORING A PROGRAM (PROGRAM)

• Press REPEAT (23) during playback of the CD.

- REPEAT DISC lights up; the CD will now be repeated

continuously.

• Press REPEAT twice to stop the track being repeated.

REPEATING ALL CDs (REPEAT)

• Press REPEAT (23) fw/ce before or during playback.

- REPEAT lights up; all CDs will now be repeated continuously.

• Press REPEAT again to stop the CDs being repeated.

CALLING UP OTHER TIME INFORMATION (TIME)

• Press TIME (22) whenever you want to know the remaining

playing time of the track being played (REM TRACK TIME).

• Press TIME again if you wish to know the remaining playing

time of the entire CD (TOTAL REM TIME).

• Press TIME again if you wish to return to the elapsed playing

time indication of the current track (TRACK TIME).

INSERTING AN EXTRA PAUSE (AUTO SPACE)

• Press AUTO SPACE (9).

- AUTOSPACE lights up; during play an extra pause of 4

seconds will be inserted between the different tracks.

• Press AUTO SPACE again to delete the extra pause.

Other pause times can be entered in the PRESETS mode.

For this refer to 'PERSONAL PRESETS' on page 11.

By programming the changer you can play up to 30 tracks in

any required sequence.

FULL lights up if you exceed the maximum of 30 tracks.

• In STOP mode, press P(rogram) (3) to open the memory.

- F'ROGRfiM lights up and PROGRAM starts flashing.

• Select the number of the first required CD using DISC

SELECT (10) or DISC (on the remote control).

• Key in the required track numbers of this CD using the 0-9

digit buttons (2).

- Every track number you enter in this way will be included

immediately in the program.

- The display always shows the number of tracks in your

program.

• If you wish to store tracks from another CD, you should first

enter the number of the CD.

• Press P(rogram) (3), STOP/CP (17) or PLAY/REPLAY (18)Xo

quit the PROGRAM mode.

WRONG TRfiCK will light up if you select a non-existent track

number.

WRONG

DISC

will light up if you select a non-existent CD

number.

CHECKING THE PROGRAM (REVIEW)

• Press REVIEW prior to, during or after programmed play.

- All CD and track numbers appear in the programmed

sequence on the display.

NO F'ROGRRN will light up if no track numbers have yet been

stored.

With REVIEW (13) you can proceed more rapidly to the next

block of information.

PLAYING THE PROGRAM (PLAY/REPLAY)

• Press PLAY/REPLAY (18).

- Playback starts with the first number of the program.

The EDIT (21). P(rogram) (3). C(ancel) (4). PRES(ets) (8). INFO

(5) and FTS (6) buttons cannot be used during programmed

play; search for a particular passage is only possible within the
track being played.

ERASING A PROGRAM (STOP/CP or OPEN/CLOSE)

• Press STOP/CP /7 7/twice or, if the CD has already stopped,

just once; you can also press OPEN/CLOSE (11)

straightaway.

- The program has now been erased.

ERASING A TRACK FROM THE PROGRAM (CANCEL)

• Press REVIEW (13) before or after programmed play (in

STOP mode).

- All CD and TRACK numbers appear in the programmed

sequence on the display.

• Press C(ancel) (4) as soon as the number you wish to erase

appears.

- The number has now been erased.

NO F'ROGRFlN will light up if no track numbers have yet been

stored, and/or if you have not pressed REVIEW (13) first before
cancelling.
