CASSEHE RECORDER
¡Playing a cassette

Select the tape mode by pressing the CD»TAPE«TUNER button
several times until izsa appears on the display.

Press STOP»OPEN ■

to open the cassette compartment.

Insert a recorded cassette with the full reel on the left hand side.

Press PLAY ► to start playback.

By pressing •« or ►► fast winding of the tape is possible in both
directions.

To stop playback or fast winding press STOP«OPEN ■

Notes: - The keys are automatically released at the end of the tape.
-As long as the PLA Y or RECORD keys of the tape deck are
depressed it is not possible to switch to another source.

1 Repeat steps 1-3, 'Playing a cassette', but load both cassette
compartments.

Press PLAY ► on deck 2 and then press PAUSE

and PLAY ► on
deck 1.
Playback starts on deck 2.
-► When the end of the tape is reached or STOP »OPEN ■

is pressed, PAUSE

on deck 1 will be automatically released
and playback continues with deck 1.
General information on recording (on deck 1 only)
Recording is permissible insofar as copyright or other rights of third
parties are not infringed.
For recording on this set you should use a cassette of the type
NORMAL (lEC type I). This deck is not suited for recording on
cassettes of the type CHROME (lEC type II) or METAL
(lECtype IV).
The recording level is set automatically. The VOLUME and DSC
controls do not affect the recording.
At the very beginning and end of the tape, no recording will take
place during the 7 seconds when the leader tape passes the
recorder heads.
