*NOTE: There are many types of good hinges on

the market, and e v e r y o n e has their personal

preferences, t h e r e f o r e , hinges have not been
included in this kit. The current favorite for many
modelers is the type of laminated hinge that permits
hinge slotting with an X-acto knife, and gluing with

thin CA adhesive If you are building a taildragger,

heavy-duty hinges are recommended for the rudder.

See the IMAA Safety Guidelines, a portion of which is
printed in the Appendix at the end of this book.

*NOTE: On our workbench, we have four 11" T-Bar
sanders, equipped with #50, #80, #100 and #150-grit
sandpaper This setup is all that is required for
almost any sanding task.
