APPENDIX E. Troubleshooting
The Power Switch is in the On position but the Power LED
indicators do not light up
Check the fuse and replace it if necessary.
If the new fuse blows up again, take the unit to a service centre.
The Power LED indicator lights up and the rest of LEDs do not.

The protection LEDs light up permanently.
Off the amplifier, wait a few minutes and turn it On again.
Check that there isn’t any shor t circuit in the wires or the
speakers.
Unplug the loads, turn the ampl ifier Off and, after waiting a few
minutes, turn it On again. If the amplifier does not work properly
take the unit to a service centre.
“Power ON” LEDs light up but the “Signal” LEDs do not. Check the signal cable and replace if defective.
One or two Clip LEDs light up with no signal. Check the loads for a short circuit in the cables or the speakers.
Excessive “Hum” All the electronics equipments must be connected to the same
earth connection. Check all the wire s for faulty shielding. Balanced
lines are highly advisable. If possible do not connect the sound
equipment to the same mains phas e as lights’ equipment. Prevent
signal wires from running close to electromagnetic sources like
lighting equipment and others.
The amplifier might have suffered a momentary overloading. Turn
