• The UConnect௡ system will confirm the phone num-

ber and then dial. The number will appear in the
display of certain radios.

Call by Saying a Name

• Press the PHONE button to begin.
• After the ЉReadyЉ prompt and the following beep, say

“Call.

• The system will prompt you to say the name of the

person you want to call.

• After the ЉReadyЉ prompt and the following beep, say

the name of the person you want to call. For example,
you can say

ЉJohn Doe,Љ where John Doe is a previ-

ously stored name entry in the UConnect

௡ phonebook.

• The UConnect௡ system will confirm the name and

Add Names to Your UConnect

NOTE:

Adding names to the phonebook is recom-

mended when the vehicle is not in motion.

• Press the PHONE button to begin.
• After the ЉReadyЉ prompt and the following beep, say

ЉPhonebook New Entry.Љ

• When prompted, say the name of the new entry. Use of

long names helps the voice recognition and it is
recommended. For example, say

ЉRobert SmithЉ or

ЉRobertЉ instead of ЉBob.Љ
