If you suspect a breakdown, check the following points before calling your serviceman for follow-up service.
Installation
Power does not go ON.
■ Is the power plug securely inserted to an AC outlet?
There is no camera picUtre.
The camera picture is indistinct.
■ is the unit properly connected to IheTV, video camera and other
devices?
■ Is there any problem with the connection of the connecting cords?
■ Is the camera properly focused?
Function/Operation
The unit does not operate even when the control
buttons are pressed.
■ Has a video tape been inserted?
a Is the MODE LOCK switch OFF?
a Is the Dew lamp blinking?
The unit is not operating because the safety functions are operat
ing. Wait until the blinking st(^s.
The clock does not run after restoration of power
following a power failure.
a Has the unit's power plug been removed from the AC outlet for a
long period?lnsert the power plug in the AC outlet and carry out
continuous charging for 20 hours or longer.
The buzzer does not sound.
a is the BUZZER switch set to OFF? If off, the buzzer does not work.
Recording
Playback, fast fonward and rewind are possible but
recording is not possible.
a Is tiie tab on the video cassette broken off?
a Is the video tape at tape end?
Recording has stopped.
a Have more than 10 minutes passed since pressing tiie PAUSE
button during recording?

One-shot recording is not possible.
a Is the speed on L01, L02, or L03?
a Is the unit set to recording pause? If set to the pause mode, the
one-shot recording does not operate.
