Were sharp items removed from pockets before washing?
Empty pockets, zip zippers, snap or hook fasteners before
washing to avoid snagging and tearing of ioad.
Were strings and sashes tied to avoid tangiing?
Straps and strings can easiiy become entangied in the ioad,
causing strain on seams and tearing.
Were items damaged before washing?
Mend rips and broken threads in seams before washing.
Did you overioad the washer?
The wash ioad must be baianced and not overioaded. Loads
shouid move freeiy during washing. Be sure not to ioad above
the stainiess portion of the basket.
Did you add chiorine bieach properiy?
Do not pour chiorine bieach directiy onto ioad. Wipe up
bieach spiiis. Undiiuted bieach wiii damage fabrics. Do not
piace ioad items on top of the bieach dispenser when ioading
and unioading the washer (on some modeis). Do not use
more than the manufacturer's recommended amount for a fuii
ioad. Do not diiute.
Did you foiiow the garment manufacturer’s care iabei
instructions?

Did you use the proper detergent?
Reguiar or non-HE hand-washing detergents are not
recommended for this washer. Use oniy High Efficiency
(“HE”) detergent.
Did you foiiow the manufacturer’s directions when adding
detergent and fabric softener?
Aiways measure detergent and fabric softener carefuiiy.
Foiiow detergent manufacturer’s directions, if you have very
soft water, you might need to use iess detergent. Remember,
concentrated detergents such as 2x or higher wiii use iess
detergent based on ioad size.
Seiecting a Fabric Softener or Extra Rinse option wiii heip
fiush excess suds from your washer.
Did you seiect the Fabric Softener button?
if iiquid fabric softener is added to the dispenser, the Fabric
Softener option must be seiected.
Was the Water Save Spray Rinse seiected?
This spray rinse optimizes the water used for rinsing the ioad.
if extra rinsing is needed due to skin sensitivities, a high
sudsing detergent, or particuiates in the ioad, such as sand or
iint, seiect the Extra Rinse option.
