TPS-TPI Touchpanel Interface Toubleshooting
TROUBLE

CORRECTIVE ACTION
TPS-TPI does
not function. TPS-TPI is not
communicating to
the network. Use Performance Viewport (via SIMPL Windows
or VT Pro-e) to poll the network. Verify network
connection to the TPS-TPI.
Verify TPS-TPI is in "CRESNET MODE" as
defined in "Interface Menu", page 10.
TPS-TPI is not
receiving network
power. Confirm that power is supplied to the network.
TPS-TPI is
incorrectly calibrated. Enter "SETUP MODE" and recalibrate.
TPS-TPI is not
responding Incorrect network
wiring. Touch screen to remove message and verify
correct wiring to all connectors.

the Net ID in the
SIMPL program. Touch screen to remove message and enter

match the Net ID in the SIMPL program.
TPS-TPI Cresnet ID
not unique, two or
more units share
same ID. Enter Performance Viewport (via SIMPL
Windows or VT Pro-e) to poll the network. Verify
that each ID is used once.
Touch-
sensitive
display is
dark. Standby timeout has
elapsed. Touch screen to reactivate.
Unexpected
response from
TPS-TPI. TPS-TPI is
incorrectly calibrated. Enter "SETUP MODE" and recalibrate.
