CABLE LOCK
1. Point the muzzle of the firearm in a safe
direction. Keep fingers clear of the trigger.
2. Follow unloading procedures, and visually
inspect that the chamber and magazine are
clear of ammunition.
3. Manually lock the slide in the rearward position.
4. Remove the magazine.
5. Take the open end of the cable lock and direct it
down through the ejection port and out through
the open magazine well. Insert the open end into
the lock, turn and remove the key. Keep the key
stored in a separate location from the firearm,
lock and unauthorized persons, and out of reach
of children.
