Engine shroud removal
To remove recoil assembly from the engine:
1. Remove the engine cover:
NOTE: There are two types of engine covers: See Figure
6.1.
• Full cover
• Bib cover
Full cover
1a. Unsnap the front of the cover from the engine
shroud. See Figure 6.2.
1b. Unhook the rear of the cover from the shroud.
Bib cover
1a. Using a thin, flat blade push in the front tab of
the bib cover enough to unsnap it from the
shroud.
1b. Unhook the rear of the cover from the shroud.
