3.1 Power,on,,power,off,
On!the!rear!of!the!instrument!two!plugs!and!one!fuse!holder!are!located.!When!seen!from!
the!rear!the!ports!and!the!fuse!holder!are!on!the!right!hand!side.!The!NucleoCounter!
SCC400!is!powered!by!a!24VDC!external!power!supply.!To!connect!the!power!supply!to!the!
NucleoCounter,!connect!it!to!the!DC!Power!Plug!(see!Figure!3),!and!plug!the!mains!power!
cord!of!the!power!supply!into!a!wall!outlet.!

The!NucleoCounter!SCC0400!draws!some!power!as!long!as!the!power!connector!is!in!place,!
even!though!the!instrument!is!not!in!use.!It!is!therefore!recommended!to!turn!off!the!
external!power!supply!when!the!instrument!is!not!in!use!in!order!to!reduce!power!
consumption,!either!by!removing!the!DC!Power!Plug!or!turn!off!the!wall!outlet.!
