INSTALLING DRAIN
• Slide O-RING (5) below LIFTROD (4) threads
• Attached LIFT KNOB (4a) onto LIFTROD (4)
• Slide LIFT KNOB (4a) down to spout base
• Apply Teflon
®
tape (18) (not supplied) to threaded
portion of TAILPIECE (17) & tighten onto BODY
(19)
• Remove STOPPER (30) & FLANGE (23) from
BODY (19)
• From underside, slide BODY (19), including
hardware, through sink drain HOLE (24)
• Apply thin film of silicon sealant (or equivalent –
DO NOT use petroleum-based sealant as this WILL
void finish warranty) to underside of FLANGE (23)
& attach to upper threads of BODY (19a)
• From underside, tighten flange NUT (20) until
rubber MACH-WASHER (22) seals against sink
(FRICTION-WASHER (21) shall be between
MACh-WASHER (22) and flange NUT (20))
• Place both CUP-WASHER (25) onto BALLROD
(26) as shown
• Place STOPPER (30) into drain, & align EYEBOLT
(30a) to accept BALLROD (26)
• Firmly tighten drain NUT (27) & slide one end of
CLIP (29) onto BALLROD (26) & through STRAP
(28) & secure with other end of CLIP (29)
• Fasten STRAP (28) onto LIFTROD (4) & secure
with thumb BOLT (28a)
IMPORTANT: To obtain proper STOPPER (30) height, it may be
necessary to adjust loosen eyebolt NUT (30b) adjust EYEBOLT (30a)
length & retighten NUT (30b). Other adjustments may be made at
STRAP (27), thumb BOLT (28a) & LIFTROD (4)
INSTALLING SUPPLIES LINES
IMPORTANT: Prior to attachment, flush supply lines to remove
debris that may cause damage or malfunction to valve cartridge.
The following are two styles of supply lines (not
included) that may be installed to the valve bodies:
Ballnose riser for exposed application
• Install BALLNOSE RISER (31a) using valve NUT
(10d) to secure riser to valve INLET (10c)
Flexible riser for non-exposed application
• Discard valve NUT (10d) & install FLEX RISER
(31b) to valve INLET (10c)
Final connections
• Attach drain tailpiece to p-trap (not supplied)
• Turn on water supply valves & check for leaks
