SD Card & Device Storage
Setting Description
SD card
Total space
Displays the total capacity of any
memory card installed in your device.
If no card is installed, this setting is
dimmed.
Available space Displays the amount of capacity free
on any card installed in your device.
If no card is installed, this setting is
dimmed.
Unmount SD card Unmount a memory card from the
device in order to safely remove it
while the device is on or to format a
card.
This setting is dimmed if no card is
installed, or if it has already been un-
mounted, or if it has been mounted
on your computer.
Format SD card Prepare a memory card for use with
the device. Formatting a card will
permanently erase everything on
the card. The memory card must be
unmounted before you can format it.

Nand memory (Internal memory)
Total space
Displays the total storage capacity
of your device. Your device’s internal
memory is used to store the operat-
ing system, its components, appli-
cations (including those you have
downloaded), and data associated
with your applications.
Available space Displays the amount of capacity free
on your device.
Unmount Nand
memory
Unmount the device’s internal
memory.
Mount Nand
memory
Mount the device’s internal memory
if it has been unmounted.
Format Nand
memory
Permanently erase everything stored
in internal memory. The internal
memory must be unmounted before
you can format it.
