Setting the System options Â
Open the system settings menu to adjust how the tablet
looks and functions.
Many applications will have their own settings;
refer to the documentation provided by the ap-
plication developer to learn more.
To open the Settings menu:
From the Home screen, press the 1.
Menu key.
Touch 2.
Settings to open the Settings menu.
The settings are grouped by category. Touch a category
to open and adjust its settings.
wireless & networks
Setting Description
Airplane mode Check to disable all wireless radios.
Wi-Fi Check to turn on the wireless net-
working radio (Wi-Fi 802.11b/g).
Wi-Fi settings Touch to scan for and view a list of
available Wi-Fi networks.
Wi-Fi Check to turn on the wireless net-
working radio (Wi-Fi 802.11b/g).
Network
notification
Check to receive an alert in the
Notifications bar when an open Wi-Fi
network becomes available.
Add Wi-fi
network
Touch to configure a Wi-Fi network
that is out of range, or that is set to
obscure its SSID network name.
