Setting Description
HDMI Setting Select the video output resolution
over HDMI.
1920 x 1080p 60Hz: For use with •
TVs that support 1080p.
1280 x 720p 60Hz: For use with TVs

that support 720p or 1080i.
UI Resolution
Setting
This option is reserved for future use.
Adjusting this option has no function
at this time.
Brightness Drag a slider to adjust the bright-
ness level of the screen. Setting the
brightness to the lowest comfortable
level will maximize battery life.
Use a lower setting when viewing in
dim environments; use a higher set-
ting in bright environments.
Screen Timeout Set how long before the screen turns
off after the last touch of the screen/
button. To maximize battery life,
use the shortest timeout that is still
convenient.

Require pattern Uncheck to stop requiring an unlock
pattern to unlock the device.
You will be required to draw your
current unlock pattern in order to
uncheck this option.
