Connect to a wi-fi network
Manually
Connect to a Wi-Fi network manually if you want to add
a Wi-Fi network when it is not in range, or to connect to
a router that has been set to obscure the network name
(SSID).
1. Open the Wi-Fi settings menu. To do so:
Go to the Home screen: a.
Press the
Home key.
Open the Settings menu: b.
Press the
Menu key, then touch Settings.
Open the Wireless & networks menu: c.
Touch
Wireless & networks.
Open the Wi-Fi settings menu: d.
Touch
Wi-Fi settings.
2. Turn on the Wi-Fi radio if it is not already on.
Make sure that the Wi-Fi option box is checked: —
Touch
Wi-Fi.
3. Open the “Add Wi-Fi network” screen.
Touch — Add Wi-Fi network located at the bot-
tom of the screen (after the list of discovered
networks).
