EDITING PLAYLISTS
Removing a Clip from a Playlist
To remove a Clip from a Playlist:
A. Make sure the clip to be removed is not PLAYING or CUED
B. Position the cursor over the Clip and right-click. Select REMOVE from the pulldown menu.
Removing All Clips Above or Below the Selected Clip
All clips above or below the selected clip can be removed unless a CUED or PLAYING clip is
affected. These options will “grey out” if removal is not allowed for this reason.
To Remove All clips above a selected clip:
A. Move the cursor over the clip to select it
B. Right click the mouse and select Remove All Above from the pulldown menu.
To Remove All clips below a selected clip:
A. Move the cursor over the clip to select it
B. Right click the mouse and select Remove All Below from the pulldown menu.
Inserting a HOLD into a Playlist
The HOLD command inserts a hold (wait) event in a Playlist immediately before the selected clip.
The PLAY or JUMP command will restart a Playlist after it has stopped on a HOLD line. The HOLD
command is also available in the Playlist Item Context Menu, accessed by right-clicking in the
Playlist item window. If a Programmed Start Time has been set and is armed, the Playlist will resume
when the Programmed Start Time occurs. See Page 61 for instructions on setting a programmed start
time.
Appending a Playlist (FILE->APPEND)
Make sure the EDIT checkbox is checked in the Playlist View window.
Click FILE->APPEND from the Playlist View to bring up the list of available PlayLists. Double-click
on a playlist to load it. It will appear at the end of the list after a label event that shows the name of
the appended list. This operation can be performed during playback, allowing a new playlist to be
loaded without interruption of programming.
