Fmrmatting the Card

Usually, it is not necessary to format the

card (initializing). Format the card when

this message is displayed [MEMORY

CARD ERROR].

[Preparation]

• Set the playback [[^]/power switch to

[ON].

Press the [

] button.

Press

A/T

to select [FORMAT] and

then press

Press to select [FORMAT].

Press the [REVIEW/SET] button.

® The card is formatted.

«After formatting, recorded images

and any other data cannot be

recovered.

When the card is formatted by PC or other equipments, format the card on the

camera again.

During formatting, do not turn the power off. (Do not open the memory card/

battery door)

If the card cannot be formatted, consult the dealer.
