It is possible to protect the important
images recorded on the card from
accidental erasure.
[Preparation]
• Set the playback switch to
[ON].

Press the [MENU] button.

Press À/T to select [PROTECT]
and then press ►.

A/T
to select [SELECT]/[ALL]
and then press ►.

Only when setting [SELECT], press
to select 1 image.

Press the [REVl EW/SET] button.
6 Press the [MENU] button three times.
• The menu will disappear.
Even if an image is protected, it will be erased in case of formatting.
When trying to delete a protected file, these messages are displayed
[PROTECTED] or [PROTECTED iMAGE LEFT]. But if you want to delete it,
cancel the protect setting.
The protect setting is effective only in this camera.
