Performing the following tasks will keep your new Panasonic vacuum cleaner operating at
peak performance levels and will ensure these high levels for years to come. Check the
BEFORE REQUESTING SERVICE section in this manual for recommendations on performing
some of these tasks to help solve various problems that may occur. Always unplug vacuum
before servicing.

Remove secondary filter from vacuum cleaner.

>- Wash secondary filter in warm soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly by squeezing the
filter in your hands and letting it air dry.

• DO NOT wash in dishwasher.

Reinstall dry secondary filter by pressing filter onto tabs to secure the filter in place.
Ensure filter is properly installed over filter opening.
