12. Lasagna
Meat Sauce:
Yz pound lean ground beef

jar (30 oz.) spaghetti sauce

Cheese Sauce:

teaspoon ground black pepper
15 cooked lasagna noodles (NN-S989)
9 cooked lasagna noodles (NN-S789)

cup grated Parmesan cheese
Meat Sauce:
Crumble ground beef into a small bowl. Cook, covered, on
PI 00 for 2 to 3 minutes, or until beef is cooked. Stir once;
drain. Stir in spaghetti sauce and water. Re-cover and cook on
P100 for 3 to 5 minutes.
Cheese Sauce:
In a separate dish, combine together ricotta cheese, egg, salt
and pepper. Stir and set aside.
Spoon V

of meat sauce into bottom of 9 x 13-inch rectangular
dish for NN-S989 (7x11 -inch for NN-S789). Alternate layers
of noodles, cheese sauce, mozzarella cheese and meat
sauce, for three layers.
To Cook by Inverter New Recipes:
Cook, covered, on INVERTER NEW RECIPE #12 (Lasagne).
When the oven beeps, shield comers of dish with aluminum
foil. (See "Cooking Techniques' • Shielding). At the end of
cooking, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese; re-cover. Let stand,
5 minutes, before serving.
To Cook by Inverter New Recipes - 2 Level:
Follow instructions above. Prepare two individual recipes.
Using the

Level Rack, place one dish on the Glass Tray and
the other on top of the Rack.

13. Onion Quiche
Pastry:

cups all-purpose flour
Salt

tablespoons lemon juice

egg yolk, beaten
7 tablespoons butter
Filling:

slices bacon, chopped

medium onions, thinly sliced

tablespoons butter
2
eggs, beaten
Vi cup sour cream

teaspoon nutmeg
Salt and ground black pepper
In a medium bowl, combine flour, salt, lemon juice and egg;
mix until well combined. Cut in butter and knead lightly. Roll
dough flat and place inside a 9-inch fluted pie plate. Place dish
in microwave and cook on PI 00 for 4 to 6 minutes, set aside.
Place bacon between two sheets of paper towels and cook on
PI 00 for 2 minutes. Set aside. Place onions and butter in a 1 -
Qt. casserole dish. Cook, covered, on PlOOforS minutes.
Drain and reserve onions. Mix together bacon and onions, and
spread evenly over cooked pastry crust. Mix eggs, sour cream,
salt and pepper, and pour over onion mixture. Sprinkle nutmeg
over top.

Cook, covered, on INVERTER NEW RECIPE #13 (Onion
Quiche). Let stand, 5 minutes, before serving.

medium apples, peeled and thinly sliced

cup packed brown sugar

In a microwave-safe mixing bowl, combine apples, raisins,
butter, brown sugar, water and maple syrup; mix welt. Cook,
covered, on PI 00 for 6 minutes. Stir once; let cool. Add
remaining ingredients and pour into a greased
11 X 7-inch rectangular baking dish.
To Cook by Inverter New Recipes:
Cook, covered, on INVERTER NEW RECIPE #14 (Steamed
Fruit Pudding. Let stand, 5 minutes, before serving. Store
covered with plastic wrap.
