Manual Tune (Channel Select and Country System must already be set; Refer to pages 18 to 21)
Using manual tuning search, you can yourself tune broadcast transmission on Programme Numbers that
you think are appropriate.

Push either the Programme Number Up

or Down V’ Button, to select the Programme
Number (memory location) in which you wish to store the desired broadcast transmission

channel.
PRE>
Push the “PRE.” (PRESET) Button 4 times, setting the Preset menu to "MANUAL TUNE”.
Push the Volume Up or Down Button.
Volume “ + ” : Next higher Channel is tuned.
Volume : Next lower Channel is tuned.

Push the “PRE.” (PRESET) Button, setting the Preset menu to “SOUND SYS”.

if the sound is not clear or no sound is produced on a Programme Number push the Volume
Up V or Down Button, until the optimum sound is obtained.
The sound indicator will change as follows;
4.5MHz<->5.5MHzf^6.0MHzO6.5MHz
Note:
When sound volume is too small to
confirm, turn it up by using the sound
volume button on the remote control.
Push the “PRE.” (PRESET) Button 4 times, to return the set to the normal viewing condition.
Helpful Hint
(1) If a clear picture cannot be obtained even when a Broadcast or AV signal is received, refer to the “Colour System
Selection” operation on page 26.
(2) After the Manual Search is finished, push the Programme Number "Up” Button to confirm the tuning condition for
each Programme Number. If Programme Numbers are unused, it is possible to skip such Programme Numbers.
Please refer to the Programme Number Skip operation on page 23.
