.

The edge cleaning feature provides for

improved cleaning of carpets near walls

and furniture.

The vac gauge located on the front of your vacuum

cleaner dust cover, indicates when the dust bag should
be changed. Change the dust bag when FULL is indi

cated in order to maintain the best cleaning efficiency.
When using some of the attachments they may restrict
airflow enough so that the vac gauge indicates full. If
this occurs remove attachment from hose and then you
should get a more accurate vac gauge reading.

NOTE: If the vac gauge indicates FULL while the

dust bag Is still empty, check to see if there are any
clogs as explained in the REMOVING CLOGS sec
tion. The vac gauge indicator may not move as

expected when loose, fluffy dust Is vacuumed.

O

SUCTION CONTROL

To reduce the suction power for cleaning draperies,
small rugs, rugs with low pile, and other delicate

items, slide the suction control to the LOW position.
Return the suction control to HIGH for nhaximum
power.

NOTE: The vac gauge does not operate when the

suction control is set on LOW. Be sure to select HI
for normal operation of the vac gauge.
