driLL the MOuNtiNg hOLe
1. measure from the top of the side rail and mark the location of the hole.
a. For standard hand trucks and Gemini ® Jr., Sr. and XL hand trucks, please refer to Figure 1 for the hole location.
b. For all other applications, locate the light fixture at a convenient place within the slot on the side of the cart or truck.
2. center the hole within the slot in the side rail.
3. there is no need to remove the red stripe from the slot.
4. Drill a 0.201 diameter hole through the red stripe and side rail.
5. Repeat for the other side of the hand truck.

iNStaLL the Light fixture
1. Place the light fixture into the slot.
2. Align the hole in the back of the light fixture with the drilled mounting hole in the side rail.
3. orient the light fixture such that the tab on the lens is pointing toward the ground.
4. Attach the light fixture to the hand truck using the screw included with the light fixture.
repLaCiNg the BatterieS
1. Remove the lens from the light fixture by lifting on the lower tab on the lens.
2. Slide the old batteries out of the battery holders on the circuit board.
3. insert the batteries into the battery holders. the positive side of the battery should be facing away from the circuit board.
4. Replace the lens on the light fixture by first hooking the lens over the top of the light fixture and rotating the lens down
until it snaps easily in place.
5. turn the lights on and off by pressing the button on the lens.
6. Notes:
• Each light fixture will achieve optimal performance and life using two 3‑volt cr2032 batteries.
• Each light fixture will operate using only one battery in either battery holder, with a significant reduction in battery life.
• Any 3‑volt, 20 mm diameter battery, such as size 2016, or 2025, can be used if cr2032 batteries are not available. the
expected life of these alternate batteries is much less than the cr2032 batteries.

1. mide desde la cima del carril del costado y marque la posición del agujero.
a. Para las carretillas estandáres y las carretillas como Gemini ® Jr., Sr. y XL, favor de referirse a la Ilustración 1 para la
posición del agujero.
b. Para todas las demás aplicaciones, localice el aparato de luz dentro de la ranura en el lado de la carretilla.
2. centre el agujero dentro de la ranura en el carril del costado.
3. No es necesario de quitar la raya roja de la ranura.
4. Perfore un agujero de 0.201”/5.1mm en diametro através de la raya roja y el carril del costado.
5. Repita para el otro lado de la carretilla.
iNStaLar eL aparatO de Luz
1. coloque el aparato de luz dentro de la ranura.
2. Alinee el agujero de la parte posterior del aparato de luz con el agujero taladrado de montaje en el carril del costado.
3. oriente el aparato de luz tal que la lengüeta del lente esta señalando hacia el suelo.
4. montar el aparato de luz a la carretilla con el tornillo incluido en el kit.
reeMpLazar LaS BaterÍaS
1. Quite el lente del aparato de luz levantando la lengüeta inferior del lente.
2. Deslice las pilas viejas fuera de su lugar en la placa de circuito.
3. Ponga las baterías en la posición adecuada. El lado positivo debe estar orientado al contrario de la placa de circuitos.
4. Reemplace el lente en el aparato de luz, primero por enganchar el lente por encima del aparato y girar el lente hasta que se
encaje fácilmente en posición.
5. Prende y apague las luces oprimiendo el botón en el lente.
6. Notas:
• cada aparato de luz logrará el rendimiento y la duración optima por usar dos baterías de 3‑voltios del tamaño cr2032.
• cada aparato de luz operará si uno usa solo una batería, con una reducción significante en la duración de la misma.
• cualquier batería de 20 mm en diámetro de 3‑voltios, como las del tamaño 2016, o 2025, se podrían usar si las baterías
de cr2032 no estan disponibles. La duración estimada de esas baterías alternativas es mucha menos que las baterías
de cr2032.
