The wrist strap protects the Handheld Terminal from being damaged as a result of it being
dropped by mistake during movement.
Follow the procedure below to attach the wrist strap.
To attach the wrist strap
1
Pass the thin end of the wrist strap through
the metal hand strap mount (two possible
locations) on the bottom side of the Handheld
Terminal.

Double the strap back through its own loop,
and pull it tight.
Important! • Never swing the Handheld Terminal around by its wrist strap.
