Installing the Cover, Feet, and Bezel
1 Lay the system on its left side.
2 Replaee the system eover.
3 Position a metal foot over the hole in eaeh eorner and seeure the foot with a
6-52 X 0.25-ineh hex-head Phillips serew.
* Replaee the bezel:
a Align the two thumbserew with the mounting holes on the front of the system
(see Figure 1-4).
b Tighten the thumbserews to seeure the bezel (see Figure 1-4).
c Swing the bezel elosed until it snaps into plaee.
d Using the system key, loek the bezel.
Removing the Slide Assemblies
At the front of the гаек eabinet, loeate the blue release push-button on one of the slide
assembly’s mounting-braeket flanges (see Figure 1-7).
From the front of the raek eabinet, press in on the blue release push button, lift up,
and push the slide assembly baek approximately one ineh away from the front vertieal
rail until the mounting-braeket flange and its mounting hooks disengage from the
square holes in the front vertieal rail (see Figure 1-7).
Repeat step 2 at the baek of the eabinet for this slide assembly
Repeat steps 1 through 3 for the remaining slide assembly on the other side of the
raek.
Plaee the eable-management arm, the eable tray, the slide assemblies, and all fastener
hardware in a box. Label the box as a raek installation kit for the system model you
removed from the raek.
