This cable meets the requirements of the ANSI/AAMI
standard, ECG Cables and Lead Wires (ANSI/AAMI
EC53:1995 and A1:1998).
This cable complies with FDA, 21 CFR Part 898
(Medical Devices; Establishment of ta Performance
Standard for Electrode Lead Wires and
Patient Cables).
Use only the following cleaning agents:
• green soap or alcohol-free hand soap
• 2% glutaraldehyde solution (such as Cidex)
• sodium hypochlorite (bleach) solution 10% in water
• IPA (Isopropyl alcohol).
