Some configuration may be set by sending the WRITE_CONFIG command. However, if the
configuration specified receives an ACK message, but it fails to apply, the software reports a
WRITE_CONFIG error. This is necessary because it may take up to 2 seconds for the configuration
setting to apply and the module should continue to communicate with the host during this time.
Therefore, the WRITE_CONFIG command, if replied with ACK, fails to apply, a WRITE_CONFIG error
is reported.
