3. While holding the throat illuminator
collar stationary, twist the otoscope
section counterclockwise at A until
the otoscope section becomes loose.
4. Slide the right hand down to the
power handle, grasp it and turn it
clockwise while keeping the otoscope
section stationary, until otoscope
section is removed. The throat
illuminator is now ready for use.
To replace otoscope section, reverse the steps
on the previous page.
Note: It is important to note that while the throat
illuminator section provides an excellent source of
general illumination, more then momentary direct
skin contact should be avoided due to possible heat
build up.
