High strength column assembly:
1. The clevises ART-SC are set on the head plate and fixed and lo-
cked with safety pins.
2. Secondly, the 3 struts ART-F7-11 are set onto the angle pipe
on the clevises. The lock must be made secure on the clevis.
When pneumatic methods are used, the position of the struts
must be chosen so that the hose coupling can be connected.
3. Thirdly, the second head plate with the mounted and secured
clevises must be set congruently onto the pistons of the ART
struts. Here it must also be ensured that the locking bolts of
the piston rest in the mounts on the clevises.
The high strength column can be positioned at the predetermi-
ned place after it has been assembled and can be set manually
or pneumatically (max. 2.5 bar positive operating pressure) to the
required height.
Setting, fixing and securing of the ART struts is carried
out, as described, for each individual strut separately. All
high strength column struts must be secured with two
safety pins!
