Maintenance
Lubricating the
machine
Your sewing machine shall be lubricated according to this
use of where it is stored. If you use it a few times a month,
lubricating the machine once a year is enough. If you use it
frequently, lubricate it at least once a month.
When lubricating, apply only SINGER oil at the points
shown. SINGER oil is specially prepared and does not
contain harmful deposits that can interfere with the
operation of precision parts.
To determine which connections move and need
lubrication, turn the handwheel slowly by hand, while
face place is removed.
BEFORE LUBRICATING THE MACHINE, UNPLUG IT
FROM SOCKET OUTLET.
