Wait for ‘F1’ If Error

This function is used to allow the Wait for ‘F1’ Error setting to be modified.
Optimal and Fail-Safe default settings: Disabled
Hit ‘DEL’ Message Display
This function is used to allow the Hit ‘DEL’ to enter Setup Message Display to be modified.
Optimal and Fail-Safe default settings: Enabled
Interrupt 19 Capture
This function is used to allow option ROMs such as network controllers to trap BIOS interrupt 19.

Retry Boot Sequence

This function is used to specify how the system is to respond to a boot error.

SETTING
DESCRIPTION
Disabled
Use this setting to prevent the CP305 from waiting on an error for user intervention. If this
setting is used, the system will continue to boot up the operating system. If ‘F1’ is enabled,
the system will wait until the BIOS setup is entered.
This setting should be used if there is a known reason for a BIOS error to occur. An exam-
ple would be a system administrator must remote boot the system. The computer system
does not have a keyboard currently attached.
Enabled
Use this setting to allow the BIOS to wait for any error. If an error is detected, pressing
mally happens when upgrading the hardware and not setting the BIOS to recognize it.
