Installing or Removing the Phone Battery
To install or remove the battery, follow these steps
Install the battery
1. Insert the battery catches in the slots at the bottom of the phone. Ensure metal contacts on the battery and the phone face
each other.
2. Press the battery to the phone until it locks into place.
Remove the battery
1. Press up on the locking catch with one hand.
2. With the other hand, hold the battery at the edges and pull out to remove the battery.

Charging the Phone Battery
You can charge the battery in your wireless IP phone by connecting the AC power supply or the USB cable to your phone. For
more information, see these sections:

• Using the USB Cable and PC Port to Charge the Battery, page 7
1 Locking catch—Push up to release the battery.
2 Battery catches—Insert these into the slots near the bottom of the phone at battery installation.
3 Metal contacts—Match the contacts on the battery to the contacts on the phone.
