2. Connect the red wire to the red battery terminal and the black wire to the black
battery terminal. See
Figure 2.2 .

3. Wrap the supplied foam padding around the battery and place in the
compartment as shown. Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw. See
Figure 2.3 .

To improve battery life, use the power switch to turn off the scale.
