1.2.2 Tare Weighing
To weigh the contents of a container you must first tare the weight of the
container. Follow these steps to do a tare weighment.
1.
Power up the CB100.
2.
Place the container on the weighing pan.
3.
Press the TARE key…
The weight of the container is removed and 0.00 weight is
displayed.
4.
Place the item(s) to be weighed in the container. Do NOT exceed the
capacity of the scale.
The net weight of the item is displayed in the chosen unit of
measure.
5.
Empty the container and place it back on the weighing pan if you want
to weigh more items in the container.
6.
To remove a tare value and return to gross weighing, empty the
weighing pan and press the TARE key.
1.2.3 Parts Counting
1.
To count small parts, place a container on the weighing pan and tare the
weight as described in the previous section.
2.
Press the PCS key…
PC.--- is briefly displayed followed by PC. rd.
3.
Press the UNIT key repeatedly and the rd will increment to 10-20-40-
60-80-100-150-200-300-400-500. This is the sample size you will use
to set the piece weight for counting. When the sample size you want is
displayed, place that many pieces into the container and press the
TARE key…
The piece weight is calculated and stored and the count is
displayed.
4.
You can now place a random number of parts in the container and the
display will show the count.
